How to Fix Error 102
1. Check Bank Website Status
Visit your bank’s official website and confirm if it's experiencing downtime or maintenance.
2. Wait for Bank Server Recovery
If the issue is on the bank's side, waiting 1–24 hours typically resolves the problem.
Note: QuickBooks cannot fix server outages caused by your bank.
3. Refresh QuickBooks Bank Connection
- Go to Banking > Update
- Try updating multiple times
- Check if the connection restores
4. Reconnect Your Bank Account
- Go to Banking
- Select your bank > Edit
- Reconnect and reauthorize
